CONSTRUCTION

 

SITE ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    • Implements with coordination to the Site Supervisor the weekly work targets provided by the Project Management Team.
    • Directs the contractors the weekly work targets provided by the Project Management Team.
    • Assist the Site Supervisor in monitoring daily work accomplishment of contractors.
    • Assist the Site Supervisor in coordinating the delivery of material and equipment on site.
    • Provide assistance to Site Supervisor in submitting all necessary reports & regular updates to Project Management.
    • Implements the procedure for regular and periodic monitoring and reporting of Work Accomplishments by the contractors.
    • Issuance of authorization for minor variations in the Work from the requirements of the Contract Documents that do not entail any adjustment in the Contract Price or Contract Time with approval from Site Supervisor.
    • Render in writing within reasonable time recommendations on the concerns of the Contractor relating to the quality and acceptability of work or material or the interpretation of the requirements of the Contract Documents to Site Supervisor.
    • Ensure that the procedure for Construction Observation, Inspection and Testing is properly implemented to monitor and control the quality of construction.
    • Provide assistance during technical inspection and testing provided by other parties. In consultation with the Project Management Team, conduct inspection and punch listing activities and prepare a list of incomplete and/or non-complying work together with Site Supervisor.
    • Assist the Site Supervisor in ensuring that each and every Contractor involved in the Project has a Safety Program and Safety Engineer/Practitioner.
    • Conduct and record of monthly Site Safety & Health Audits and issues Notice of Non­ Conformances to respective parties to ensure immediate closing of these non­ conformances.
  • FINANCIAL OPERATIONS

    • Review and endorse to Site Supervisor all Contractors' Accomplishment Reports to support the Contractors' request for payment.
    • When the Project is behind schedule, require the contractor(s) to submit Recovery Schedule.
    • Review contractor's requests for Final Payment including the release of Retention Money, if any.
    • Liquidates cash expenses appropriately and on time.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of Civil Engineering, licensed is an advantage
  • 1-year experience with Land Development and House Construction projects.
  • With leadership skill
  • Good interpersonal relation skills
  • Good moral character
  • Knows how to read and interpret plans.
  • Knowledge in BP220 (Rules and Standards for Economic and Socialize Housing Projects).
  • Must be knowledgeable in construction materials and specifications.
  • With basic knowledge in engineering applications e.g. AutoCad, Primavera, etc. but not necessary

OPERATIONS ANALYST

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic, tactical and operational goals
  • Implement strategies and plans
  • Design an Operating Plan consisting of a Process Model, Organizational Model and Cost Model for new projects, business units and departments.
  • Conduct regular review of existing Operating Plans
  • Ensure that the performance of all business units and departments are regularly monitored
  • Act as the Secretariat during business unit or departmental performance reviews
  • Spearhead performance improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
  • 1-4 years of experience in Property Development/Real Estate
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in the following:
    • Strategic Planning
    • Operations Planning and Policy Development
    • Budget Management
    • Project Management
    • Communications

DRAFTSMAN

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and assemble data to complete designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as necessary
  • Draw rough and detailed scale plans based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.
  • Determine procedures and instructions to be followed, according to design specifications and quantity of required materials.
  • Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on designs
  • Coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation in order to graphically represent plans
  • Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.
  • Creating and continually updating project drawing lists.
  • Systematically saving sketches and drawings, keeping it organized, updating project folders and files as jobs progresses and revisions are made
  • Create, edit, and update standard details for use in projects

Qualifications:

  • Vocation Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
  • PRC License is NOT necessary
  • 1-2 years project experience working in the construction industry is required, preferably in housing construction and land development
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a CADD and Photoshop operator role.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment
  • Knowledge in government processes, BP 220, and other related laws in land development and housing construction.

LIAISON OFFICER

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the business, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contract
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate the strategic objectives of the business
  • Collaborate and communicate successfully with other entities outside of the business
  • Work with other staff members to develop a greater understanding of the business and any issues that arise
  • Develop and foster relationships with the community, stakeholders, and other entities
  • Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the business and other entity
  • Compile reports about incidents, events, or updates about an important issue for the business
  • Proactively solve conflicts and address issues that could occur between the business and other entity
  • Promptly respond to incidents and other events as necessary
  • Act as a positive representation of the business to the community

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field
  • 1-4 years of experience specialized in Clerical/Administrative Support or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of project experience in working in the construction industry, preferably in Housing Construction and Land Development
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment
  • Knowledge in government processes, RA 9184, and other related laws
 

FOOD & BEVERAGE

 

FOOD ATTENDANT

Responsibilities:

  • Provides high standards of quality and speedy service to guests, specifically:
    • Food Attendant
      • Possesses thorough understanding of food and beverage items on the menu (e.g. informs customers of daily specials)
      • Takes orders & serves them according to established performance standards (e.g. writes food orders on order slips, memorizes orders, or enters orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff; serves specialty food)
      • Presents bills and receives payment (if paid via cash)
      • Cleans & resets tables immediately after being vacated (e.g. removes dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning)
      • Ensures that service stations and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized
      • Carries out other reasonable duties and responsibilities (e.g. opening & closing procedures of the outlet; filling salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment & napkin containers)
      • Checks patrons’ identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
      • Serves wine selections to tables with appropriate glasses, and pours them for customers
      • Ensures that all order slips are signed by the customers & supervisor
      • Ensure cleanliness in all areas of concern per Kit Properties Inc.’s Standards.
    • Canteen Attendant
      • Possesses thorough understanding of food and beverage items on the menu (e.g. informs customers of daily specials)
      • Takes orders & serves them according to established performance standards (e.g. writes food orders on order slips, memorizes orders, or enters orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff; serves specialty food)
      • Presents bills and receives payment (if paid via cash)
      • Cleans & resets tables immediately after being vacated (e.g. removes dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning)
      • Ensures that service stations and surrounding areas are kept clean and organized
      • Carries out other reasonable duties and responsibilities (e.g. opening & closing procedures of the outlet; filling salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment & napkin containers)
      • Ensures that all order slips are signed by the customers
      • Ensures the availability of food for customers—making sure that food is served during PAGCOR’s operation hours
      • Ensure cleanliness in all areas of concern per Kit Properties Inc.’s Standards.
  • Monitors operation supplies and reduce spoilage & wastage
  • Understands & strictly adheres to company’s policy on Fire, Hygiene and Health & Safety
  • Maintains a high standard of personal appearance, hygiene & punctuality at all times, specifically:
  • Reports for duty punctually, wearing the prescribed uniform and name tag at all times
  • Attends and contributes to all staff meetings and other related activities
  • Attends all training sessions organized by the superiors of Training Department
  • Establishes and maintains good relationship with all guests, specifically:
  • Checks with customers to ensure their enjoyment of meals
  • Takes actions to correct any problems
  • Escorts customers to their tables
  • Entertains customer concerns in a positive and timely manner
  • Other tasks assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Preferably college degree holder: BS HRM, or related to food-service industry/culinary; graduate of vocational courses (related to food service)
  • Keen to details, open-minded, hardworking, sales-minded, honest, reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated,
  • Has willingness to serve and initiative
  • Good communication skills especially in English; ability to speak other language/s is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills
