(Updated) Banate, Iloilo –Banate, Iloilo –Kit Properties Inc., in partnership with the National Housing Authority and the local government unit of Banate, Iloilo, has successfully turned over four hundred eighty-six housing units to the victims of Typhoon Yolanda last March 22, 2019.
Located in Brgy. Magdalo, Banate, Iloilo, the village features single-story row houses that are built using Light Gauge Steel Framing System approved by AITECH. Each unit has a total lot area of 26 sqm and comes with fully-functional kitchen and bathroom, complete with all the basic fixtures.
Banate People’s Village uses design parameters that conform to the Design for Socialized and Economic Housing, National Building Code and other housing-related laws to make sure that all of the houses will be able to withstand extreme weather conditions and other natural calamities.
Kit Properties is set to complete and turnover the remaining five hundred fourteen housing units (514) by April.
The Philippine National Government, through the National Housing Authority (NHA) embarked on a grand rehabilitation project to provide fully serviced lots with completed housing units to be utilized as permanent resettlement sites for qualified families residing in unsafe zones affected by the devastation caused by Super Typhoon Yolanda.
